Glamis Castle and Glenshee Tour

Aberdeen Dunnottar & Glamis Castles & Glenshee mountain road route day tour.Traveling in a small grouped tour from Aberdeen we travel South from Aberdeen city, following the Coast. Hear about the areas History seeing Glamis & Dunottar castles & Glenshee Mountain Road Route.

Our tour starts from Aberdeen Visitor Information Centre.

We travel over the Dee river to Dunnottar Castle we will have time to view and take some photos of this ruined Castle sitting on its Headland on this dramatic coast line. Traveling further South for our main visit of the day Glamis Castle this is the ancestral seat to the Earls of Strathmore since 1372 and childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queens Mother and birthplace of HRH The Princess Margaret (entry fee required). With ample time given for a guided tour of the Castle a browse of the gardens and a Lunch Break. Then in the Afternoon we will travel over Glenshee a Mountain road route for lots of photo opportunities and a stop at Braemar Highland Village, then return to Aberdeen. .

Then return to Aberdeen Visitor Information Centres. Our Glamis Castle & Glenshee Tour takes around 9 hrs. Tour Runs on a Tuesday April-October.
